Recent Buys: Aliexpress mini Haul

If I had all the money in the world, I'd probably unknowingly spend half of it on Aliexpress ๐Ÿ˜†. It's like ebay 2.0! I can find anything to my hearts desire within aliexpress' pages. I recently created a quest to revamp my wardrobe, adding more kawaii-esque pieces for me to choose from. Whether they be visual kei, lolita-esque, fairy kei, decora, etc. I wanted more disgustingly adorable type clothing pieces in my closet. I started my search off looking for something cute and strawberry themed. I plan to go strawberry picking with my fella when spring-time rolls around, so I had to find the perfect outfit! I stumbled upon this piece.

Strawberry Print Sleeveless dress
The shop that sells this dress also has quite the inventory of cute and edgy clothing. I almost want to buy up the whole store, but kept it safe and just added a couple pieces to my wishlist. I was excited to order this dress, and purchased it at the beginning of February. I decided on ordering it in a size M after skimming through the reviews. It only took a little over a week for it to reach to me, and it was time to try it on. At first, the top looked too frumpy. Once I buttoned it all the way up, and tied the bow in the back it started to fit more visually comfortable. The material is also quite comfortable, and light-weight. Perfect for the springy and hotter seasons. I'm almost completely positive that you could pair it with a light cardigan or heavy jacket to suit the chillier months, as well! I also find the length of the dress comforting. I usually don't lean towards dresses that are shorter in length, since they like to conspire with the wind and certain movements to make contact with the outer-dress world ๐Ÿ˜….
Anyways, let's try this bad boy on.
disclaimer: my hair is the hottest of messes

Looks like I've ruined the surprise, and tried the strawberry dress on with the second piece I ordered!
Well, without further ado...
Lolita Transparent Tunic Top
I initially thought that this would be made with a more chiffon like material. I was surprised to see it was actually mesh. It didn't take away from the cuteness of this tunic, though. As you can see from my trying on, I think it would look cute paired with the strawberry dress. I am a little skeptical about it being a good idea to wear to strawberry picking, though. Haha. The thought of strawberry juices staining this tunic is definitely frightening. It's also a nicely light-weight piece to wear in the warmer seasons. I can't wait to sport it layered with cute dresses, tops, and bras.
Wanting to see how this mesh tunic looking with an edgier style, I paired it with a caged bra, and one of my long flowing black skirts. I actually enjoyed this look so much, that I wore it out to the Hello Kitty Cafe truck too.

The last item I decided to hurry up and buy was this lovely "rucksack".
Canvas Rucksack
I steer more towards backpack style bags, and felt that the one I'd been using was on it's last legs. I had been using it every single day for like the past 2-3 years. I really liked the darker look of this one, with a fabric I thought would take well to being stuck with pinback buttons, enamel pins, shoved in lockers, and whatever other wear 'n' tear I could put it through. Also, it has a back pocket...which is an instant win for me when it comes to purses/bags, as well as a number of other useful pockets on the front and inside. I adore it, and am very careful when stuffing it in my locker. I want to keep this bad boy for as long as possible!

I'm delighted with everything I ordered... if you can't already tell ๐Ÿ˜Š
Both the tunic top and rucksack took  about 1.5-2 weeks to arrive. Strawberry dress only took 9 days, being the closest to a weeks time.
I have a little list of items that I'd like to snatch up next ^_^

one, two, three, four, five, six

I'm ready to be the most kawaii octomaid to ever hit these skreetz!
Thank you for reading ๐Ÿ™
