Toy Tuesday - Recent Gets!

Hello and welcome to Starfish's first Toy Tuesday!
I love seeing what my fellow grown toy collectors are collecting, and love to show my collection as well! I'll be showing the goodies I've been "discount" shopping for from ebay, listia, Walmart, and Target! Read all the way to the bottom, or just skip to see a video instead!

Here are a few gathered bits that I plan to send to a youtuber that I really enjoy. I was initially planning to send it to her before her birthday this month, but I think I'd like to gather a couple more items before I decide to finally send it on its way! All of these items [excluding Angel, she was bought through listia] were bought on sale at my local Walmart.
Purple & yellow Crystal Surprise Zing Pig [4.88]
Tsum Tsum Stackable Stitch Lip Smacker [4.88]
Angel Mystery Stack Pack [2.88]
I already have an Angel of my own, so I'm happy to share my double with her if she doesnt already have her! I also have a double of Stitch that will be going along with this package!

Angel came along with these wonderful Tsum Tsum gets from Listia! Well except for Mickey, he was felt up and purchased at walmart. From series 2, I really really want buzz lightyear with his adorable little rocket ship! I think he's the only one I "need" any others that arent doubles would just be lovely. I was super happy to get Alien!!!

Next are my wonderful ebay gets!
I absolutely love ebay, and have been using it since I was about 10 or 11 [when my parents allowed me to make a paypal]. I've had probably only one to three issues with the site, but all issues resolved with full refunds.
Onto the goodies! First I scored this adorable Smorkin' Labbit Bondage Labbit *chuu* .  He is ridiculously adorable in all his kinkiness!

The next wonderful get is this Yu-Pak Danboard figure! He was an absolute steal for 0.99! Sadly I found out his batteries were destroyed, but I didn't really want to take him out of his adorable box anyways.

Cro-minion Kevin was next on my find list, for a whomping $1.68!
He is being saved until I can gift him to my Mom for whichever holiday will be coming up next. She loves these little yellow fellas!
Whilst toy hunting in Wally World, I noticed that their "core" Tsum Tsums were priced at $2.88. They're usually around 4.95 anywhere else so I had to pick some up! I've never purchased a mini tsum plush for myself, only my medium piglet. I got a cutie mini piglet to match him [oh how i love him so], an alien [fell like I must get two more!!], and flounder! Though I'm not all that interested in Disney princesses, flounder as a tsum is to die for!
Lastly was a trip to Target, in which I picked up 4 mymoji Five Nights at Freddy's  blind bags. I picked all new ones! I'm super excited to have a new puppet face, and boy ain't he a cutie!

These were gathered over time, so I didn't do too bad with keeping my obsession under control...heh
I hope you enjoyed seeing my new figures and plush as much as I loved playing with and showing them!

Starfish's Wishes - Funko Pop Wishlist

How adorable is this little blueberry!? I can't believe how perfect this Violet Blue-regarde is! I don't think I'd want any Willy Wonka pop more that I want this one! Sadly, she's a SDCC exclusive *le sigh*. I can only hope that I'll be able to find her somewhere online eventually!
Same goes for this Sex Bob-Omb 3 pack. Sadly, exclusive to SDCC. My faith is not lost in being able to find this set and add them to my collection. The only thing that could make this set better would be if Kim had some sort of mini Drum. Maybe they'll one day break up this set and sell her with her Drums.
Oh my childhood. I can't wait to see how they've created such a wonderful story in movie form, and I definitely want to get my hands on this pop! I'd wished that they made him the 6" size pop, but I've read that they dont sell as well as the others. I'm ok with it!
I'm not so much excited for Capitan America string lights, but excited for pop string lights!!! I can't wait to see which styles they release for this. I really hope for some domo ones....OMG or a Steven Universe family set!
Still on the topic of Steven Universe....Funko Pop is releasing these ADORABLE mystery minis!!! My wish is to own a case that I can unbox for my pleasure! The cases are sold as 12, and I've already picked which 12 I'd die for out of the 15 possibles you can get. Which are your favs?

DIY: Finding Dory's Hank the Septopus Hair Clips

I recently watched Finding Dory this past Friday. Not only did I cry half my body weight in tears over the adorable sadness that is Dory's story, but I fell even more in love with Hank the septopus! I was already a bit biased with him being an octopus character, but the movie has solidified my interest. I made Hank hair clips to go with the outfit I decided to wear to the movie, and now you can make them too!

Purchase your very own Hank clips here
other characters soon coming!

Come With Me - Chattahoochee River!

Let us get back to nature with a trip to the Chattahoochee River. I'v been once before with friends in high school. Back then we were cliff jumping, this time was a time to relax and dip in our toesies!
When we arrived at what we believed was the entrance, we started our trek.
About 20min into our trek, we noticed that we went to the photo friendly route instead of the entrance to actually get into the water!

My friends were almost tempted to just figure out how to get into the water here, but thankfully GPS and wifi exists. We figured out where we needed to be and headed back to the entrance. We found our selves on the right path, and quickly headed to the direction of the water. We did get turned around a couple times in the other entrance, as well as trying to find the play-in-able river water. I got much exercise, and got to take in as much nature as possible!

The mushroom growth was really pretty on some of the fallen trees!
More walking, more walking, more walking. I was surprised and delighted that I only had one asthma attack the whole trek! I felt somewhat accomplished, especially since I was carrying so much -_-. Then it was time...time to reap the benefits of our journey. We'd made it to the River!

Let's get those tootsies wet!

There were cliff jumpers having drunken fun on the opposite side of the bank we were relaxing at. At one point, a handful of them got into floaties and floated by us. They asked if we had grass...I felt some type of way about that, but they floated on down the river and the negativity floated on with them. We played in the chilly waters for a good little minute. One of my friends also brought a water gun....added fun, yeah? Right before we decided to head back to the car, I was stopped by a lone lunar moth wing.
It brought me back to happy childhood memories of catching and finding out what they were with my mom. I had a blast, but found myself exhausted by the time I got back home. I need to get out more ^_~

Starfish's Addictions #2 - Funko, Blind Bags, & more..

Back at it again with the toy obsessions!
Yup, Starfish has fed her adorable figure desires once again. It was pay day, and a day to finally spoil myself. Of course I chose toys and figures to spoil myself with! I started off with a solo trip to Michaels and Target, since I had mini missions that involved those two stores. The first of the two was to use the 50% off one regular item coupon from Michaels that I woke up to in my inbox. The second mission was to find and purchase Deadpool the game for our xbox one from Target.
After finishing up at Michaels and Target, I went to meet up with a friend and head to the local mall. When we got there, I stopped at the Disney store and another store called "Box Lunch". It's like the little sister store of Hottopic, but sells mainly anime and gamer gifts. we wanted to go to a Hottopic after not finding anything at Box Lunch, so we hopped on the train and headed to another mall. While there we went to Hottopic, Spencers, Claire's, and Gamestop. I did not get anything from Claire's lol.
I found Hank at Michael's, and used my 50% off on him! The excitement was real when I saw him sitting on the Finding Dory Display Tower. He was the only thing I ended up getting from Michaels. I got my game and a Hatsune Miku blind bag from Target. The disney Tsum Tsum blind box is from the Disney Store. The adorable Steven Universe Funko Pops [Regular Garnet, and Glowing Steven], Steven and Stitch Pocket Pop, and Simpson blind bags are from Hottopic. Stay Puft Pocket Pop, and FNAF myemoji are from Gamestop. I was lucky enough that sales were going on at every store, and if something wasn't on sale a coupon was available! Ok, let's see what's inside!
I'm happy about everything except the Simpson's keyrings. I've watched an unboxing of a few of them, and decided that Maggie absolutely terrifies me...I wish they'd made her face wider instead of making it look so skinny. I also am not a fan of comic book guy's hairline. They will most likely be up on ebay!
As you saw, I got Goofy as my Tsum Tsum blind box figure. I think it's safe to say that the Tsum Tsums from the blind box are "Extra Large" size. I know I have small hands, but my fingers pretty much touch when wrapped around my goofy. I really want Mickey and Minnie as well!
Because of the Twice upon a Year Sale, I was able to get Goofy for 5.99 instead of the regular price of 12.95 [I believe]. I also picked Foxy for my Five Nights at Freddy's myemoji blind bag. They seemed to get along pretty well, haha!
 Teehee
The next day, I went to Walmart and picked up two Tsum Tsum blind bags, one FNAF myemoji blind bag, and a Finding Dory "not so" blind bag.
One of the Tsum Tsum bags contained a repeat...which was Figaro, so he will not be shown here, haha. The other was luckily Chesire cat [which I kind of cheated because it'd already been, what looked like, popped open by someone, but was good for me], one I didn't already have! I only need Sebastian from series 1, then I can put my focus fully on series 2. Haha! I got another face of Foxy for my FNAF blind bag pick, and of course I picked Pearl as my Finding Dory figure.
The last item I picked up was to actually feed another toy/figure lover's addiction. It's a Tsum Tsum Stitch Lip Smacker stackable lip gloss for a favorite youtuber of mine. Her birthday is this month, and since we share collection interests, I wanted to put something small together for her! She loves stitch, and the lip smackers were on sale!
I did forget to show my growing Five Nights At Freddy's myemoji collection in my Introduction post, so here they are! Bonnie wasn't too excited about it.
There's also the two Foxys that I've currently picked up. I would love to pick the other two puppet faces the most, for my next blind gets!

I'll be fighting the urges to spend my hard earned dollars on more figures and such. I'm saving up for one large purchase....but until then, thank you so much for reading! I hoped you loved my newest additions as much as  I do!

Starfish's Addictions - Introduction

Hello and welcome to an episode of Starfish's Addictions in which I introduce you to the world of my obsessions. For starters, I have been collecting for many many years. It started off with a liking for Sanrio characters, and anime related items [small items I could find on ebay] when I was in my single digit ages. I then found out about San-x, stationaries, and a little brown "mutant brownie" named Domo-kun. I think Domo-kun was the first obsession that I threw caution to the wind with. Then I found a little thing called Dunny and other vinyl figures. I just spun out of control. I am happy that it became more mainstream, giving me more options of favorite items to collect and more ways to throw away my money. It's all for happy feels, so it is all ok. Let's dive in!

I used to say that I have a collection of collections, but recently realized that it's just a collection of things I find personally cute!
At the moment, I have one bookshelf to house all of my figures, most of my plush, and most of my reading materials[manga behind manga and books behind books]. I would love to get wall shelves in time, especially since I'd like to feed my fella's addiction to hot wheels and motorcycles. I think both of our obsessions would look lovely and lively displayed "levitating" on the walls. Until then, my bookcase is the home!
Current Collection Includes:
Domo-kun
Shin Chan
Kidrobot [mostly Dunny]
Funko
Anime Merch [Dangan Ropa, Madoka Magica, Black Rock Shooter, Sasami-san@Ganbaranai]
Kawaii Merch [Arpacasso, Amuse Hamster]
Artist Stickers [including my own!]
Tsum Tsum
Other Vinyl Figures
Octopus goodies
The far right photo is after I've added my current toy/figure purchases, including new tsum tsums and FNAF my emojis. Let's get a litter closer to the newer figures and more current additions.
Scrump, Gus, and Buzz was the most recent stack pack I purchased. I "needed" that big scrump, and I really like how buzz looks as a plump little roly poly lol. Can you tell I love Scrump and Stitch lol.
Stackable Tsum Tsums from Series 1 & 2
I can't get over their adorable chubby faces and lil round bodies. There are definitely ones that I like over the others, and I'm trying to stay with only buying the ones I really really like instead of trying to go all out for things I just kind of like. It's ok to not want everything! My absolute favorites are Stitch, Scrump and Piglet!
stack stack stack!
The mystery minis are just as adorable! I would love them more than the stack packs if they included every character, but I'm sure they'll add them as they release more series [hopefully]. Oops, Almost forgot about Olaf [have not watched Frozen yet]!
I recently tried to add Funko's Best of Anime mystery boxes from series one to my collection, knowing I really only wanted the Attack on Titan and Soul Eater characters.
Of course I get Ciel from Black Butler lol. Though I am entranced by his blue hair and cute little outfit, my heart isn't in keeping him as a part of my collection. He will most likely be added to the world of ebay, my apologies Ciel!!!
I was here believing that Disney had enough of my money already after releasing series two of the tsum tsum mystery packs....boy was I wrong. Toy story "not so" blind bags are here to take even more of it.
I started off small with just one Alien, so hopefully these will be here for a while and I will be able to get all the characters I truly want.
Those of you who have been with me for a while know I have a strong love for Octopi, and what goes along with them. I'm an octomaid myself! To my surprise, they've added an octopus [well, septopus] character for the new Finding Dory movie and his name is Hank!
You remember my plush from my lovely fella! Which initially started it all, so let's just blame him for knowing what I love haha. I've also added two of the "not so" blind bag hanks...and am trying to convince myself that I don't need a third one lol. I can't wait for more Hank merch!

I also have a growing octopus collection, mostly plush. Pictures of those were not included in this post!
That was a little dive into the types of things I obsess over, and what you can expect me to be hauling in on, in addition to my fashion styles. I will show more as more comes in. I hope you enjoyed my collections as much as I love them!
